Statistics Clinic concludes with a positive hypothesis

Graduate students enjoy crunching numbers on 17 October 2024

Over 20 postgraduate students participated in the inaugural “Statistics Clinic (統計診療工作坊)” organised by the Graduate School.  Dr Stanley SIU covered essential statistical concepts for research analysis, including foundational ideas in quantitative analysis such as descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and the practical application of Microsoft EXCEL and SPSS. Dr SIU addressed postgraduate students’ requests and assisted them in overcoming statistical analysis challenges related to their current research.  Students enhanced their statistical analysis and research skills whilelearning to effectively use SPSS software and improve both the quantity and quality of their research.
