Exploring Academic Synergies: Visits to the University of British Columbia in Canada
The Vice President (Research & Development) of the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), Professor Chetwyn Chan, recently led a delegation to visit the University of British Columbia (UBC).
The EdUHK delegation held constructive discussions with senior management and scholars from UBC, focusing on academic collaboration and student exchanges between the two universities.
UBC hosts and discussants included:

- Professor Jan Hare, Dean, Faculty of Education
- Professor Donal O’Donoghue, Associate Dean Academic, Graduate and Innovation, Faculty of Education
- Professor Anna M. Kindler, Senior Advisor International, Faculty of Education
- Dr Fang Wang, Senior Director of International Initiatives, Faculty of Education
The visit successfully established a foundation for prospective collaborations that will enhance both universities’ academic and research landscapes. EdUHK eagerly anticipates the positive outcomes emerging from these endeavours while further strengthening its international connections and global reach.
