Student Wu Pak-yin Recognised as Top 10 Outstanding Youth

Wu Pak-yin, a Year 3 student in the Bachelor of Science Education (Honours) (Sports Science) programme, received a Top 10 Outstanding Youths and Social Service Award under the 2015-16 Outstanding Youth Commendation Scheme. Organised by the Home Affairs Bureau and the Commission on Youth, the award commends young people for outstanding performance in personal development, community building and social services.

 

As a member of Hong Kong Tchoukball Team, Pak-yin is always well prepared for intensive training and overseas competitions. He is also active in other sports. His enthusiasm in community building and social services is reflected in his active participation in engaging and organising both institutional and community level activities such as sports events, student hall activities and academic focus groups. Since joining the Wong Tai Sin Youth Development Network, Pak-yin has become a core member in planning and organising community activities for the youth in the district.
