We are excited to announce that the Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EPL) will organize a GLEF study tour to Dubai during Easter 2026. The tour, themed 'Emirati Culture in UAE,' will take place from April 3 to April 10, 2026.
 

Key Details:

GLEF study tour ‘Emirati Culture in UAE’ Dubai Study Tour in Easter 2026, with at least one pre-trip meeting in March or April 2026

Date: 3 to 10 April 2026

Tour fee: HKD 14,320 (including air ticket, transportation, accommodation, entrance and most of the meals)

GLEF subsidy: HKD 7,160 max

Target: Open to all UGC-funded undergraduate students and HD ECE students. 

Application deadline: 24 November 2025

Briefing session: 14 November 2025, 12:30-14:30 at B1-LP-07

Highlights of the Tour: 
The theme of this tour is to offer students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich Emirati culture while exploring Dubai's transformation into a global city. Students can

• Discover Emirati culture by exploring Dubai’s lifestyle, beliefs, customs and traditions, historical heritage, and the educational and socio-economic significance of the region.; and
• Recognize the Emirati traditions and cultural heritage by exploring how Dubai preserves its identity while transforming into an international city and fostering a sustainable future.
