The APCLC is delighted to announce that it has received a generous donation of HKD1,000,000 from Mr. CHUNG Po Yang SBS, OBE, JP, philanthropist, Co-founder and Chairman Emeritus of DHL International, and Director of the Service Leadership Education Limited. The donation from the Service Leadership Education Limited made the “SERVICE LEADERSHIP 3CS FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL TEACHER LEADERS” learning programme possible.
At the heart of the endeavour will be an adaptation of the service leadership model and teacher entrepreneurialism to develop a teaching professional learning programme for the betterment of teacher leadership in Hong Kong.
Professor Allan Walker, Director of the APCLC and Dean of FEHD, explained “the APCLC has dedicated itself in the past decade to enhancing the capacity for leadership development through design and evaluation of programmes. The SERVICE LEADERSHIP 3CS FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL TEACHER LEADERS” learning programme will help nurture and uplift teachers’ professionalism and entrepreneurialism for achieving sustainable change in Hong Kong school systems.
