(ii) Octopus Payment Machine (OPM) and Online Payment Portal (OPP)
- Students can use OPM (https://www.eduhk.hk/ocio/octopus-payment-machine ) and OPP, which accept many popular payment methods, to pay hostel-related fees, print quota, etc. It can reduce cash transactions and paper receipts.
(iii) Easy Form Service
- For environmental friendliness and work efficiency, paper forms will be migrating electronically to the Easy Form Service (https://pappl.eduhk.hk/EFS/) in the long run.

- Large LED display panels are used to replace traditional noticeboards to enhance efficiency and reduce printed materials.
Enhance Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection

- Enforcement of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on OCIO systems to enhance security and protect personal data.
Energy Conservation – Smartcard Classroom Control System
- The Smartcard Classroom Control System (https://www.eduhk.hk/ocio/Smartcard_Classroom_Control_Sys )automatically turns on the lights and air conditioning and unlocks the door of teaching venues to enhance energy conservation.
- The system automatically turns off the lights and air conditioning and locks the door if there is no check-in within 20 minutes of a booked session and 5 minutes after checking out.
- The system automatically turns off the lights and air conditioning and locks the door 15 minutes after the end of a booked session if there is no subsequent booking.
