In pursuit of this goal, the University will take all reasonably practicable measures to comply with relevant statutory requirements, and in addition apply internationally recognized best practices in health and safety towards the fulfillment of the following objectives:

  • Provision of a safe and healthy ambience for work, study, research, activity and residence.
  • Identification of possible hazards in the activities of the University and reduction to a minimum of any risks to health and safety that may rise.
  • Provision of processes for the use, handling, storage and transport of articles, hazardous substances and disposal of waste that are safe and without risk to the health of personnel concerned.
  • Provision of information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure the health and safety at work of all staff concerned.
