In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held this morning (1 July) a national flag raising ceremony on its Tai Po campus.
 
The ceremony was attended by around 100 participants, including members of the University Council and the senior management, staff, students and alumni. A flag raising team made up of students – most of whom are education majors – has been formed to take up the national flag raising duty during the ceremony. In addition to flag raising ceremonies conducted each week and on important dates, the national, regional and university flags are hoisted on each school day at the new flag poles installed at the plaza facing the administration building.
