Director of Student Affairs Ms Angie Yeon Yuk-mei said, “Our education graduates are highly competitive in the school sector, as evidenced by the latest employment figures amid the economic downturn. Their all-round knowledge, professional competence and pedagogical skills have enabled them to stand out and apply what they have learnt in different teaching environments and settings under the ‘new normal’."

Associate Vice President (Academic Affairs) and Registrar Professor May Cheng May-hung said the University’s Bachelor of Education programmes continued to be popular among DSE students. In particular, Chinese History and Early Childhood Education remained among top choices in the latest round of JUPAS reprioritisation. “Leveraging on our traditional strengths in teacher education, EdUHK has expanded to offer more multidisciplinary programmes in line with our Education-plus approach. We believe this robust learning environment will benefit our students, be they prospective teachers or future leaders in the community."
