EdUHK Students Win First Prize in National Mock Mayor Competition

EdUHK Promotes Cantonese Opera Heritage
The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) organised today (5 December) the International Symposium on the Transmission of Cantonese Opera and Traditional Music 2019 as part of the 25th anniversary celebration of the University and the 10th anniversary of UNESCO’s inscription of Cantonese opera on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The symposium provided a platform for local and international scholars, researchers and practitioners to share their views on professional training, school education, local and community transmission, and international promotion of xiqu.
Eco-Garden On Campus Promotes Sustainability Education
Nestled in a scenic mountain range in the north-eastern part of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) campus is rich in biodiversity, with more than 380 species of trees, plants, insects, birds, fungi, and reptiles having been observed, helping to facilitate EdUHK’s sustainability education.
EdUHK Commissioned to Review Effectiveness of Integrated Education Policy
The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) won a one-year research project, commissioned by the Equal Opportunities Commission in October 2019, to review the effectiveness of integrated education policy in Hong Kong.
