You can use a camera app on your phone. There are plenty of passport photo apps available for both iOS and Android users, likes Passport Photo Booth and ID Photo. These apps display an outline using your smartphone's front or rear camera, which help you better position your face and body.
Yes, you can submit a printed photo to IT Help Desk at C-LP-20 when you come to the campus. However, you are strongly recommended to scan the hard copy of your photo and upload it on the system to avoid long queues for photo submission.
You will receive an email informing you that the photo you submitted is not accepted with the reasons for rejection. We will invite you to upload another photo by a new deadline.
If you fail to upload the photo by the deadline, you will need to queue up for photo submission on campus. And, you may not be able to collect your EdU card on the same day.
You may come to IT Help Desk at C-LP-20 in person and show your HKID card or valid identity document when collecting your EdU card.
If you are not available to visit IT Help Desk in person, you could authorize a third party to collect the card on your behalf. You are requested to give your authorization in writing via the authorization form. The authorized person should present the following documents when collecting the card:

Your registered email address is the one you use in JUPAS or the Online Admission System. Please be sure you enter correctly.
Yes, you are allowed to upload the photo unless the system is locked for card printing.
