2024-10-22

The Bachelor of Education (Hons) Early Childhood Education (Part-time) Programme Team of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the EdUHK will organize a series of public lectures titled "Professional Growth in Early Childhood Education". The lectures will feature different industry experts, who will share and elaborate various topics related to early childhood education. The content of these lectures is interesting and practical, and it can also facilitate early childhood educators, students, parents, and individuals who are looking further education to learn about techniques and practical skills that can aid in the growth and learning of young children. Through these lectures, participants can learn more about the latest trends and best practices in the field, build relationships and networks with other practitioners, and ultimately improve their skills and knowledge to provide better learning experiences for the children in their care.

The first event is the "Symposium on Empowering Teachers and Young Children in the Digital and AI Era." This symposium will focus on typical cases in early childhood education from Hong Kong and Shenzhen, exploring how emerging technologies and innovative practices can enhance teachers' professional abilities and children's learning outcomes. We will invite education experts, early childhood practitioners, and researchers from both regions to share successful experiences and practical results, analyzing challenges encountered in actual teaching and potential solutions.
