The Department of Early Childhood Education held the "Award Presentation cum Alumni Gathering for Part-time BEd(ECE) Programmes" on October 5, inviting awardees of the "Project/Capstone Course Excellence Award Recipients for Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) Programmes" and the "Outstanding Field Experience Award for Early Childhood Education Students", along with their friends and relatives, to return to the Tai Po campus.
During the event, the department head delivered a welcoming speech, and two associate heads shared insights on teaching and learning as well as integrated field experience (IFE). There was an award presentation for the "Project/Capstone Course Excellence Award Recipients for Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) Programmes" awardees and the "Outstanding Field Experience Award for Early Childhood Education Students" awardees. The department organised an exchange session with refreshment, allowing graduates to converse with teachers.
This event not only allowed awardees to celebrate their achievements with their friends and relatives but also served as a valuable opportunity for the department to connect with alumni and exchange ideas on the early childhood education industry. Alumni are important assets for the ECE Department and also the industry. The department will continue to organise more alumni activities to maintain the collaborative relationship between us and alumni, in order to facilitate the development of early childhood education.
