Is the Coding Fair free of charge?
Primary School Groups and Public (aged 4-12) are welcome to register. Registration is free to all.
What is the opening hours of the Coding Fair?
13-14 June (Thurs to Fri), from 9am ‒ 3pm, open to School.
15-16 June (Sat to Sun), from 10am ‒ 5pm, open to Public.
Is there any age limit for the activities?
13-14 June (Thurs to Fri): Open to Primary School students who must be led by teachers in groups;
15-16 June (Sat to Sun): Open to children aged 4-12 who must be accompanied by parent/ guardian.
For better learning outcome and safety reasons, age or (and) height limit is set for particular activities, including:
- Coding workshops: please refer to program timetable for particular sessions.
- Bouncy Castle, Inflatable Basketball and Pony: Age 4-12, height below 1.2m
Is pre-registration required for the activities?
Participants need to complete online registration for joining Coding Fair.
Successful applicants will receive an e-mail confirmation instantly.
Please show the confirmation email for check-in on event day.
Pre-registration for Coding Workshop and Parent Seminar (Sat & Sun only) are required.
Other activities will be available for all registrants on a first-come first-served basis,
including Booth Exhibition, Busking (Sat & Sun only), Bouncy Castle, Inflatable Basketball and Pony,
as well as Library and Museum Tour.
You are recommended to listen to radio or television announcements on the weather,
road and traffic conditions during event day.
If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.1 / No.3 / Yellow Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force,
Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Basketball will be suspended,
while workshops and other activities remain open until further notice.
If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 (or above) or the Red/Black Rainstorm Signal is in force prior to
opening hours, will Coding Fair be cancelled?
The Coding Fair arrangement will be as follows:

Bouncy Castle and Inflatable Basketball will be suspended until
further notice; Other activities in the afternoon session of
that day will resume from 12:30pm as scheduled in the
programme.

If Tropical Cyclone Signal No.8 (or above) or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force during opening hours,
will Coding Fair be cancelled?
- If a Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement is issued during opening hours,
all activities will be cancelled and venue will be closed.
Participants will be requested to leave the venue gradually
- If Red/Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is announced during opening hours,
all activities of will be cancelled but the venue will remain open
for participants to stay for their own safety.
