The Department attaches great importance to students’ academic training in Chinese language, especially the foundational training of Chinese literacy skills and the cultivation of learning abilities, learner independence, and creativity. We also take into account the development of students’ cross-lingual and cross-cultural communicative competence to meet the urgent needs of social development.
