Chairman of the Council 校董會主席
Professor Ma was born and educated in Hong Kong. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from The University of Hong Kong in 1973, having majored in economics
and history. After graduation, he lled various senior positions at local and overseas banks, nancial institutions and major companies, including Chase Manhattan Bank, Royal Bank
of Canada Dominion Securities, JP Morgan Chase, Kumagai Gumi (HK) Limited and Paci c Century Cyberworks Limited. In 2002, he joined the Hong Kong SAR Government as Secretary
for Financial Services and the Treasury, and assumed the post of Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development in 2007. He resigned in July 2008 due to medical reasons. In October 2008, he was appointed Honorary Professor of the School of Economics and Finance at The University of Hong Kong. Professor Ma was appointed Member of the International Advisory Council of the China Investment Corporation in July 2009. In December 2011, he was appointed Honorary President of Hong Kong Special Schools Council. In January 2013, he was appointed Member of the Global Advisory Council of the Bank of America. In August of that year, he was appointed Honorary Professor of the Faculty of Business Administration at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. In October 2014, he was conferred Honorary Doctor of Social Sciences by Lingnan University, and in October 2016 he received the same honour from City University of Hong Kong. He is currently Chairman of MTR Corporation Limited, an Independent Non-Executive Director of the FWD Group, and a director of Husky Energy Inc.
馬 時 亨 教 授 於 香 港 出 生 和 接 受 教 育，一 九 七 三 年 取 得 香 港 大 學 文 學 士 ( 榮 譽 ) 學 位，主 修 經 濟 及 歷 史。馬 教 授 自 畢 業 後，歷 任 多 所 本 地 和 海 外 銀 行、金 融 及 其 他 機 構 主 要 職 位，包 括 美 國 大 通 銀 行、加 拿 大 皇 家 銀 行 多 美 年 證 券 行、摩 根 大 通 銀 行 、 熊 谷 組 和 電 訊 盈 科 集 團 等 。 他 於 二 零 零 二 年 加 入 政 府 ， 任 職 財 經 事 務 及 庫 務 局 局 長 ，二 零 零 七 年 出 任 商務及經濟發展局局長，二零零八年七月因健康理由請辭。二零零八年十月，獲委任為香港大學經濟金融學院名譽教 授。二零零九年七月，馬教授獲委任為中國投資有限責任公司國際諮詢委員會成員。二零一一年十二月，獲委任為香 港特殊學校議會榮譽會長。二零一三年一月，獲委任為美國銀行集團全球顧問委員會委員。二零一三年八月，獲委任 為香港中文大學工商管理學院榮譽教授。二零一四年十月，獲嶺南大學頒授榮譽社會科學博士。二零一六年十月，獲 城市大學頒授榮譽社會科學博士。馬教授現為香港鐵路有限公司主席，富衛集團獨立非執行董事，並為加拿大赫斯 基石油公司董事。
Mr. Dieter YIH 葉禮德先生, JP
Deputy Chairman of the Council 校董會副主席
Mr Dieter Yih is a partner of Kwok Yih & Chan, Solicitors. His practice focuses on capital markets, corporate nance, securities, mergers & acquisitions in Hong Kong, mainland China and the Asian region. He is currently a Member of the Education Commission, the Convenor of the Investigation Panel of the Hong Kong Institute of Certi ed Public Accountants, a Member of the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, a Member of the Standing Committee on Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service, and the Chairman of the King’s College London Hong Kong Foundation. Mr Yih was a Past President of The Law Society of Hong Kong (2012-2013), and has served on the Standing Committee on Legal Education and Training for 12 years.
葉禮德先生為郭葉陳律師事務所合夥人，其法律業務以香港、中國內地及亞洲區的資本市場、企業財務、證券、收購 合併為主。葉先生現為教育統籌委員會成員、香港註冊會計師公會調查小組召集人、香港交易所上市委員會成員、司 法人員薪俸及服務條件常務委員會成員，以及倫敦大學國王學院香港基金會主席，曾任香港律師會會長(二零一二 至一三年)，並於法律教育及培訓常設委員會服務十二年。
