solar and wind energy features, and ecological and ornamental ponds, the Eco-garden demonstrates renewable energy applications and sustainability while serving as a research, teaching and learning facility.
During the year, the University website won the Triple Gold Award of the Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme jointly organised by the Of ce of the Government Chief Information Of cer and the Equal Opportunities Commission on an annual basis since 2013. The University was
lauded for its efforts in adopting user-friendly design in its website, which facilitates visitors, including disability groups, to obtain useful information, thereby promoting Hong Kong as an inclusive society.

建於校園內的生態園為本校環保倡議項目之一，並藉 以促進教學活動。生態園由有機農田、魚菜共生與濕 地 系 統、雨 水 花 園 與 蝴 蝶 花 園、太 陽 能 與 風 能 設 施， 以及生態與觀賞池塘組成，既展示可再生能源的應用 及實踐可持續發展的理念，亦為研究及教與學提供設 施。
年內，本校網站獲「無障礙網頁嘉許計劃」頒授三年 卓 越 表 現 獎。該 計 劃 自 二 零 一 三 年 起，每 年 由 政 府 資 訊科技總監辦公室與平等機會委員會合辦。本校網頁 的 優 越 設 計 備 受 好 評 ， 令 瀏 覽 者( 包 括 殘 疾 人 士 )能 盡快獲取寶貴資訊，推動本港社會共融。
