Call for papers
The format of the meeting will emphasize interaction, not academic paper presentation. While we request participants to develop short papers on educational reform and change in their own national contexts (see Appendix A), these papers will not be presented during the Roundtable. They will be published as Occasional Papers under the joint logos of the APCLC and NIDTEP. A selection of papers will submitted for consideration in special issues of international journals.
We request that participants submit papers from 1,500 to 5,000 words in length on the topic of educational reform and change in their own national contexts.
Authorship
Papers can be co-authored.
Formats
These papers can be written in any of the following formats:
- Empirical report in which you employ data about change in your national context;
- Case study of educational change in a society or in a single school;
- Personal reflection on the challenges of leading or bringing about educational change in your national context (e.g., lessons you’ve learned);
- Story about educational change in your context.
- The length and format will of course determine the type of publication for which your paper will be considered
