Roles
To make the blue skies programme work,
BPs should:
● Be as open as possible about the
capability of their school.
● Be as open as possible about any
‘hidden’ aspects of their school.
● Be as open as possible about the stated values of their school.
● Be as open as possible about their strengths and the
difficulties they face.
● Be open about their leadership and other leaders in their
school.
● Be prepared to ask and answer questions.
● Be prepared to listen and learn from the experience of others.
● Be willing to look openly into and at themselves.
● Be willing to share about their school’s culture.
● Be willing to share both positive and negative perceptions.
● Engage as fully as possible in discussions.
● Prepare for all meetings.
● Show interest in others’ situations.
● Support fellow BPs.
