What is a Sponsor?
During blue skies you will work in a Learning Square with three
other Beginning Principals and a Sponsor. A Sponsor is an effective
experienced principal who formally agrees to ‘Sponsor’ BPs for the
duration of the programme. In simple terms, they agree to advise
and support the professional learning of the BPs during the first
years of their principalship. A Sponsor plays three vital roles .

● Principal Coach
● Professional Counsel
