Dr Hui-Ling Wendy Pan has been Professor of Graduate Institute of Educational
Policy and Leadership at Tamkang University since 2011. She held office as the
institute’s director during 2014-15. Because of her valuable experiences in
education, she is nominated as Executive Director of the Center for Learning and
Teaching at Tamkang University since August, 2015. She is former Professor and
Director of Graduate Institute of Educational Policy and Administration at National
Taiwan Normal University, as well as the Director of the Centre for Educational
Research of the university. In addition to her positions in the academia, Dr Pan has
served on ad hoc committees of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education for years. Her rich
experiences in education-related fields allow her to combine research with
first-hand practice. She is a senior editor of the Section of Educational Leadership
and Management, Cogent Education and Past President of two educational
associations in Taiwan: School Administration Research Association, R.O.C., and
Taiwan Association for Local Educational Development. She serves on the board of
directors for more than ten associations.
