in Training and Retraining Lecturers

The training and retraining activities for lecturers demonstrate the autonomy of universities
in education and training in order to overcome the limitations and weaknesses of the
teaching staff so that they can meet the requirements of education reform. For the effective
training and retraining of lecturers, it is necessary to survey and assess the capacity and the
needs of lecturers as a starting point for the elaboration of training programs. Moreover, it is
also important that the forms of training and retraining be diversified; the training results
must be evaluated and reflected to trainees so that the quality of lecturers could be
improved and meet the new requirements of education reform.
