香港教育大學健康教育榮譽學士課程一年級學生梁子軒，是代表香港出戰於二零一八年九月五日至十二日在英國伯明瀚舉行的世界大學生壁球錦標賽的其中一位球手，香港隊與其餘十二支來自不同國家的隊伍角逐團體賽獎項，最終奪得銅牌。

大學教育資助委員會（教資會）主席唐家成先生於二零一八年九月六日率團到訪香港教育大學（教大）。

香港教育大學（教大）於最新一輪研究資助局（研資局）資助撥款結果中取得佳績，在「優配研究金」及「傑出青年學者計劃」的「教育」科目範圍，獲批資助的研究項目數量及金額雙雙稱冠。

Scholars at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) won international recognition for their innovations in education and environmental technology fields, grabbing three gold and one silver medals at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN) held in Toronto in September 2018.
