The Internet and Higher Education, edited by Professor Lim Cher Ping, Chair Professor of Learning Technologies and Innovation at The Education University of Hong Kong, is now ranked second among 236 journals in Education and Educational Research.  

The latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR) update gave The Internet and Higher Education an outstanding impact factor of 5.847, a ranking that demonstrates the journal’s influence and scientific value.

JCR is a resource published by Thomson Reuters to provide citation and publication data on academic journals in science and social sciences. The Internet and Higher Education's ranking has steadily risen since Professor Lim served as Associate Editor in 2013. He became Editor-in-Chief in 2015.
