What is a UNESCO Chair?

UNESCO – the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, launched the UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme in 1992. The Programme involved over 700 institutions across the globe to develop the bilateral partnership NAD Pbetween UNESCO and universities committed to the goals of the United Nations.
