deeper understanding of trilingual education in China and strong models that support additive trilingualism

dissemination of research findings through international conferences, regional meetings, invited speeches and annual symposia

the formation of a nationwide network of researchers

the establishment of the Chinese Society for Multilingualism and Multilingual Education under the auspices of the International Assocation for Multilingual Education

the development of teacher professional development programmes in multilingual education around the country, with more than 2000 teachers being trained by the end of 2017

curriculum reform in a number of universities to embrace multlingualism

the recruitment of 40 master's students and 5 doctoral students

the sharing of the research design and rubrics with other researchers through a series of Technical Papers

various awards, such as the Knowledge Transfer Grant Award 2015-16 by The Education University of Hong Kong
