Event Organizer
This international symposium on "Understanding and Promoting the Wellbeing of Students with SENs" is organized by The Department of Special Education and Counselling (SEC) at The Education University of Hong Kong. Aims
The overarching aims of the international symposium are to (1) provide a multidisciplinary platform for discussion and debate among university students, academics, schoolteachers, and practitioners on well-being in special educational needs; (2) raise awareness of the importance of improving well-being for students with special educational needs; and (3) widen university students’ exposure to international perspectives. We are committed to diversity and sharing the benefits of internationalisation.
Objectives

To facilitate opportunities for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas across various disciplines, stakeholders, and institutions;

To share new initiatives and strategies for improving well-being for students with special educational needs;

To debate and identify gaps for conducting research into optimising well-being for students with special educational needs; and
-
To provide a platform for university students to present their work with poster presentations.
