Dr Chih-Hsuan CHEN

Dr Chih-Husan CHEN is currently an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Special Education at National Taitung University. He earned his PhD degree from the Institute of Health Sciences, College of Medicine at National Cheng Kung University. During his PhD, Dr CHEN focused his research on perceived stigma and its impact on mental health in young people with intellectual disability. He is a licenced physiotherapist and worked in this capacity at St Mary’s Hospital, Taitung, specialized in rehabilitation, special education, early intervention, and long-term care for disabled people.
