Student-led Community Service Project (Project Implementation)
Objective: Student-led project aims to encourage students to design and conduct self-initiated projects for demonstration and development of their leadership capacity and project management skills while contributing to the community through services. Furthermore, the project encourages long-term partnerships with service organizations.
Student Project Activity 1:
Activity Name: 同6日 Fun Day (Volunteer Service)
Objective: To raise awareness and knowledge of environmental protection (green) through organizing a fun day.
Content:
- Group game and activities on the topics of environmental knowledge e.g. food waste
- Campus visit
- Green workshop (Host: 綠在大埔)
Date: 16 March 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 9:30am – 5:00pm
Venue: Tai Po Campus 大埔校園
Beneficiary: Tai Po children
Partnership: 香港聖公會救主堂社會服務中心- 賽馬會家庭幹線 及 綠在大埔

Student Project Activity 2:
Activity Name: 一日小店長@綠在區區 (Volunteer Service)
Objective:
- Raise the awareness of environmental protection (green) through booth and workshop for Tai Po resident
- Build confident for targeted children through hosting volunteer activities together
Content:
- Host a game booth together with children volunteers at a recycling spot.
- Conduct an Upcycling Green Workshop for Tai Po residents.
Date: 6 April 2024 (Saturday)
Time: 12:30pm – 5:30pm
Venue: 綠在大埔 (大埔大華街25號)
Beneficiary: Tai Po children and family
Partnership: 香港聖公會救主堂社會服務中心- 賽馬會家庭幹線 及 綠在大埔

Working as an Organising Committee, each student team can decide the objectives, theme, format, impact of their project, and conduct services for the beneficiary of their choice. (Student teams are entitled to exclusive training and funding in setting up their community service projects.)
