Yoyo Cheng Lok-yiu and Annie Sun On-nei, two #EdUHKRisingStars, share a passion for Disney and are determined to pursue their dreams. Yoyo and her team have shown the fascinating Shui script, from the Chinese ethnic minority group Shuizu to the rest of the world. They have developed a captivating story based on the culture and have created an attraction called 'Shrine of Pneuma' along with an enchanting boat ride. Meanwhile, Annie led a team in creating an educational experience using hologram technology, focusing on the lost village beneath Shek Pik New Village.

Both teams have faced tough competition and personal challenges. Yoyo's team used their artistic ability and school resources to bring their intricate model to fruition, while Annie's team showcased their creativity and storytelling skills.

Their hard work has paid off, as Yoyo’s team won coveted positions as trainees within the prestigious Disney Imagineer family. Annie and her teammates won a Merit among competition from nearly 100 teams and over 300 participants.

They have credited their learning experience at EdUHK for enhancing their creative talent, as well as improving their presentation and communication skills, making them more confident when presenting to the Disney judges, and proving invaluable in the design process, as Disney prioritises the guests' visual experience.
