There are four student halls/quarters on the Tai Po Campus providing about 2,200 residential places.
The Northcote Hall (NH), Grantham Hall (GH) and Robert Black Hall (RBH) provide shared twin and triple bedrooms with communal facilities including activity rooms, laundry rooms, bathrooms/toilets and pantries. Each study-bedroom is also equipped with computer ports and is covered by Wifi network.
The Undergraduate Flats in Jockey Club Student Quarters (JCSQ) comprise 9-person or 12-person shared flats. Each flat includes single, shared twin and triple bedrooms . The Research Postgraduate Flats (RPg flats) in JCSQ are 6- or 8- person shared flats, Each flat includes single and shared twin bedrooms and charges of bed places vary with room types, all flats own sitting/dining areas, terrace, kitchen/laundry room and bathrooms. Each bedroom is provided with individual computer ports and is covered by Wifi network. A telephone is provided in the sitting/dining areas for use by students. Only students of the same gender may live in the same study-bedroom/flat.
For safety and security purposes, student halls on campus are accommodation that has 24/7 security guarding and access control, and 24-hour CCTV surveillance in communal facilities and public areas (such as laundry room, pantries, lift lobbies, corridors (applicable to JCSQ only), etc.).
