Student Hall Tutor Scheme

Student Hall Tutors (“hall tutors”) are full-time undergraduate (Ug) or postgraduate (Pg) students (during service term) who are appointed by the University to assist the Warden and Assistant Warden in the development of hall life education through the provision of pastoral guidance to residents, keeping of disciplines in student hall/quarters and promotion of social responsibilities. Round(s) of interviews will be conducted to facilitate the recruitment.

Recruitment of Student Hall Tutors 2024-25 for Student Halls/Quarters (4th Round)

 

The Student Affairs Office (SAO) is looking for students with a genuine interest in hall life and are keen to serve fellow residents. The appointment period for Student Hall Tutors will normally be from 2 August 2024 (Friday) to 6 June 2025 (Friday). Selection will be based on the capabilities and relevant experience of applicants.   

 

Interested students, please read the recruitment requirements (Attachments) and submit the completion e-certificate for two courses including 1. Preventing Sexual Harassment on Campus and 2. Inclusive Campus and Special Educational Needs; the required reference letter and supporting documents; and complete the online application form on or before 23:59 pm, 29 December 2024 (Sunday).
