Go Global (overseas service tour)

 

You will be planning and conducting an overseas service tour with your peers while enjoying the GLEF* subsidy. This programme is designed to train and enhance your accountability, intercultural communication skills and understanding of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) under the SAO’s supervision. You can choose to be a KOL** to lead the group, or a Specialist to co-organise the tour.

*All full-time undergraduates and full-time HD(ECE) students* are eligible for the Global Learning Enhancement Fund (GLEF), with the maximum subsidy up to $10,000 (for UG) and $5,000 (for HD(ECE)).

 

**Full-time UGC-funded undergraduate KOL will be eligible for a subsidy of HK$5,000 from the Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust. The amount of GLEF funding will be the remaining balance (up to 50 %) of the programme cost after deducting the amount of funding from the Lau Luan Hung Charitable Foundation.
