Course Synopsis

The course provides students with the opportunity to enhance their mathematical competencies through engagement in various mathematics competitions, including the Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad and the Hong Kong Primary Mathematics Challenge. Students will gain hands-on experience and insight into the operations of large-scale mathematics competitions for primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. This course aims to enrich students' mathematical experiences while developing their competencies and essential skills such as problem-solving, communication, and social interaction. Additionally, students will gain a deeper understanding of the mathematics curriculum and explore how competitions align with the core values of mathematics education.
