Biography Dr Wilbert Law is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Psychology at The Education University of Hong Kong. Wilbert is a registered educational psychologist in Hong Kong and a social/personality psychologist. Wilbert is a recipient of the Faculty of Education and Human Development “Top 10%” Teaching Award, the Education And Social Entrepreneurs “EASE” Fund Award, and the Early Career Scheme from the Research Grants Council of Hong Kong. Wilbert currently serves as the convener of continuing education committee of the Division of Educational Psychology of the Hong Kong Psychological Society.

  • Human motivation and well-being
  • the promotion of compassion (toward self and other), and mindfulness
  • how the adoption of different values and goals can affect the satisfaction of psychological needs, learning, interpersonal relationships, and quality of life
  • the impact of social media on cognitive functioning and well-being
  • the development of brief psychological interventions
