Notice regarding the commencement of the Training Programme for Primary School Curriculum Leader (PSCL) 2024/25 (Component B)

To: Participants

Please be informed that the PSCL Training Programme (Component B) will commence on 9 January 2025Programme HandbookProgramme ScheduleGuidelines on Using Zoom and details of class arrangements have been uploaded onto the programme website's Downloads Section for your reference.

Arrangements for the first session on 9 January 2025 are as follows:

Topic: Module 3-Curriculum Leadership and Management

Tutor: Prof. TSUI, Kwok Tung

Time: 14:30 to 17:30

 

Please log in to the Zoom system 10 minutes before the session starts.This is a regular practice for the following sessions throughout the whole Component B programme.

IMPORTANT: Arrangements during Bad Weather

Important message from the Training Programme on Curriculum Leadership in the 2024/25 School Year for New Primary School Curriculum Leaders (PSCL)

To: Participants

Participants are reminded of the following arrangements of classes when Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above),"extreme conditions"* or Black Rainstorm Signal is in force:

  • For Classes Not Yet Started
  1. If either of the warnings is cancelled between 6:01 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., all afternoon classes and examinations commencing at any time from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be held as scheduled.
  2. If either of the warnings is hoisted or in force at or after 11:00 a.m., all afternoon classes commencing at any time from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be cancelled.
  • For Classes and Examinations Already Started
  1. When Tropical Cyclone No.8 or above is issued, all classes will be suspended immediately.
  2. When Black rainstorm warning is issued, all classes, except those held outdoors, will continue until the end of that session, unless the lecturer advises that the classes should be suspended.

 

*Under certain “extreme conditions” caused by super typhoons, such as serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage after super typhoons, the Government will review the situation (including public transportation and other aspects) and make announcement to the public.
