Conference
Theme and Aims
The theme of the conference is "Social cultural aspects of physical education". It is intended to cater for the target participants of 500 PE teachers. The conference aims at providing PE teachers with key conceptual framework of social cultural aspects of physical education and how they can be nurtured in PE. The following objectives are formulated for reference:

To share with local and foreign scholars concerning concepts, development, issues, experiences and practices of cultivating cultural and social development with reference to PE teaching and learning in Hong Kong;

To make cross reference with experience and advanced knowledge concerning nurturing students' cultural and social development; and

| 3. |
To build up PE teachers' competence and confidence in making use of the advanced knowledge and experience for improving practices of teaching concerning how cultural and social values can be nurtured through PE.
