Recently, ChatGPT has become a viral sensation on social media. ChatGPT uses Natural Language Processing (NLP), a branch of artificial intelligence that teaches computers to understand how humans write and speak. Using the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) model developed by OpenAI and advanced machine learning technology, another subfield of artificial intelligence to imitate human communications, ChatGPT could talk and respond like a human. To understand why ChatGPT gets viral, it is an interesting topic to investigate how ChatGPT can be used to write a complaint letter to the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department regarding the long-time issue of street space being unlawfully occupied up by stores. After starting a philosophical discussion with ChatGPT (including how to write a poem and questions related to Internet of Things), I found that ChatGPT not only responded to all these enquiries clearly, it answered all follow-up questions in a sensible manner as well.AI is really opening up unlimited possibilities in many fields, including industry, finance, health management, space exploration and education.
