Preventing Sexual Harassment

Respect, diversity and inclusion are important for learning and working.  Everyone, irrespective of their gender, pregnancy, breastfeeding, marital / family status, disability, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, political / other opinion, national / social origin, etc., has the right to be respected and be treated fairly.  Among these, fighting against sexual harassment has been a hot global issue in recent years.

The University has zero tolerance for sexual harassment.  Acts of sexual harassment and other harassment / discrimination not only violate the University’s Equal Opportunities Policy, but also amount to unlawful acts under the anti-discrimination laws (namely the Sex Discrimination Ordinance, the Disability Discrimination Ordinance, the Family Status Discrimination Ordinance and the Race Discrimination Ordinance).
