On February 12, 2025, the MA(GSE) programme hosted an Alumni Sharing Session. We were honored to welcome two graduates from the class of 2022/23, Mr. Chen You and Ms. Qiu Tian, who shared their job-hunting experiences in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area with our current students.
Drawing from their personal experiences, they covered a range of topics, including the factors influencing the decision to work in Hong Kong or the Mainland, visa issues, job searching websites, and the skills necessary to thrive in today's competitive job market. They also encouraged all students to take bold steps toward their future careers and to embrace the journey ahead with confidence and ambition.
This event aimed not only to provide valuable advice on job searching but also to inspire students about the diverse career paths available to them. Additionally, the session fostered a sense of community within the MA(GSE) programme, offering a platform for students to connect with alumni and build professional networks that can support their career development.
