From December 14 to December 20, 2024, the Department of International Education successfully organized a seven-day study tour to Taiwan for 15 undergraduate students, focusing on the theme of Life and Values Education.

During their visit, students participated in a transformative "Death Experience" workshop at Jenteh Junior College of Medicine, Nursing and Management, which significantly deepened their appreciation for life. The program continued at the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences, where students toured a healing garden and engaged in psychological activities designed to enhance mental well-being. They also interacted with local teachers and students at Taipei Municipal Song Shan Senior High School, gaining valuable insights into the practical application of life value education within the curriculum. A class at the Association for Education on Life Enlightenment highlighted innovative teaching methods that inspired students to adopt compassionate approaches to life and values education.

The itinerary also included visits to various cultural and historical sites, such as the Museum of World Religions, Discovery Center of Taipei, and the 228 National Memorial Museum, further enriching students' understanding of Taipei's history and the broader context of the theme in Taiwan.

Overall, this study tour provided students with a comprehensive understanding of Life and Values Education, encouraging them to reflect on their own beliefs. It is anticipated that the insights gained during this journey will leave a lasting impact on their lives.
