課程簡介

本課程【MSocSc(SCM)】是爲計劃從事與體育教練和管理相關工作的學生而設。作爲碩士研究生課程，申請人必須具備體育相關科目的基本知識，或至少在一項運動上有出色的表現。
 

課程特色

本課程【MSocSc（SCM）】將爲學生提供體育教練和管理方面的相關知識和實踐經驗，包含各種相關的範疇，例如體育科技、績效分析、撰寫計劃書的基本技能，以及體育行業的趨勢和發展、銷售策略等。本課程畢業生將可從事針對不同對象（包括社會大眾以至專業運動員）的教練或管理工作。本課程可提高學生從事教練和管理工作的能力，並成為相關的專業人員，以滿足大眾對運動日益關注的需求及改善市民健康。

課程目標

本課程的目標如下︰
  1. 促進對運動教練與管理的全面了解；
  2. 透過包括運動表現分析到運動產業營銷策略在內的各種要素，提高教練指導和管理的能力；
  3. 培養運動教練和／或管理相關行業的領導才能。
在成功完成本課程後，學生將可以︰
  1. 展示出對運動產業相關的教練指導和管理能力的掌握和運用；
  2. 協同運用科學的及實證為基礎的策略進行運動教練和管理；
  3. 培養在運動相關產業中規劃並實施指導計劃和／或政策的領導能力。


課程結構

入讀本課程之學生需以一年全日制或兩年兼讀制修讀合共24個學分之科目。

其中，學生必須完成3個核心科目（合共9個學分）。除核心科目外，學生還可選擇5個選修科目（合共15個學分）或3個選修科目（9個學分）加上1份碩士論文（合共6個學分）。

課程科目

3個核心科目爲學生提供與體育教練和管理相關的知識和技能。爲加強學生在不同領域的知識，目前提供了8個選修科目，供學生選擇完成課程。撰寫碩士論文的學生，將在一名導師的指導下，完成體育教練和管理相關的研究論文。

教學語言

本課程以英語作爲主要教學語言。

教學地點

大學或會安排同一學期或不同學期的課堂於平日日間/晚上、週末及/或長假期於大埔校園 / 將軍澳教學中心 / 北角教學中心 / 九龍塘衛星教學中心及/或其他地點進行。

學費

本課程爲自費課程。全期學費爲港幣159,840 元正 (2025年度入學)。所有已繳交的學費不設發還。

入學要求

  1. 申請人一般應持有認可的體育或相關學科學士學位;　或
    本地/地區/國家級精英運動員持有認可學士學位或其他同等學歷;　和

  2. 申請人需持有以英語授課之學士學位或同等資格證明。如申請人擁有之學士學位並非以英語授課，則需符合下列其中一項要求(注1):
    • 雅思國際英語語言測試（IELTS）總分6.0；或
    • 中等教育普通證書（GCSE ）或普通教育文憑普通程度（GCE OL）英語等級C或以上; 或
    • 網上託福考試（TOEFL）總成績80分；或
    • 近兩年內有效之國家大學英語六級考試（CET-6）總分430或以上；或
    • 其他同等資歷。

      IELTS/TOEFL成績有效期為2年，即從考試之日起2年內有效（申請2025/26入學者提交的IELTS/TOEFL成績必須於2023年1月1日或之後應考）；
      只接受在官方指定考試中心應考的IELTS/TOEFL成績 （即不接受線上應考的IELTS indicator/IELTS Online及TOEFL Home Editions等成績）。
      注1 : 不符合大學英語語言要求的地區/國家精英運動員可基於個人資歷擇優錄取，但獲錄取者必須在修讀期間額外完成大學語言教育中心（CLE）提供的英語強化課程（相關費用自理），以符合畢業要求。

  3. 合資格申請者可能需要參加面試。

Andy’s primary research interest lies on the motor learning and impact of physical activity on psychological, cognitive and physical well-being in children with autism spectrum disorder.  He is also interested in motor development and the effect of free-play on overall quality of life in typically developing children. He recently initiates a new research project on the investigation of free-play participation among school-aged children. His research goal is to propose a lighthouse parenting strategy as a reasonable approach to build success among children.
