ABOUT US

Each year, the International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School (IPRRFSS) in Education, Social Sciences, Liberal Arts and Humanities brings together distinguished academics, postgraduate students and experts at our beautifully green and pleasant campus.

IPRRFSS has been organized since 2011. Last year, more than 300 scholars and postgraduate students from more than ten countries / regions participated in the Forum.

The event is jointly organised by EdUHK and partner universities. In the past few years, we have worked with both local, regional and international institutions from Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Macau, mainland China, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, United Kingdom and USA etc.

As a unique international event for and by students, postgraduate students have taken the lead in organising the Forum, co-chaired at panel sessions, and presented at the Postgraduate Roundtables with international scholars. Our Forum encourages postgraduate students to collaborate more fully across the border and across disciplines than they have done traditionally, to present their work and to work with people with diverse cultures and communities. It also provides them with updates on the latest international discourses on research methodology and assessments in education, social sciences, liberal arts, and humanities.

The next International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School will be held on 3-5 July 2019. The theme will be Postgraduate Education: Digital Literacy Vs Language Skills.
