
Enhancing students' experience

Engage students to develop a global perspective that is characterised by a broad
understanding of diverse social and cultural contexts.

Nurture students' social responsibility in the local and international communities.

Promote regional and international exchange programmes in enhancing student
learning experience.

Provide non-local experiential learning which help develop and expand students' skills
and competence specified in the General Intended Learning Outcomes (GILOs) and
other relevant attributes.

Increase the number of students participating in existing schemes, by consolidating the
International and Regional Learning Enhancement Fund (IRLEF) and further
developing such financial assistance scheme within the capacity of the University's
financial support, and diversify the types of experience by the addition of new schemes.

Engage students in regional and international service-learning and co-curricular
activities to promote social progress and human development.

Contribute to learning through engaging students in regional and international summer
institutes, research seminars, conferences, symposia and overseas student visits to
EdUHK.

Diversify the provision of non-local learning opportunities to match the aspiration and
study plan of individual student.

Continue to seek proactively various funding sources to support students' participation
in overseas learning experience.
