About the Global Alliance |
Background
In support of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s aspiration to develop Hong Kong as a regional education hub, The Hong Kong Institute of Education (“HKIEd”) has pursued a unique strategy of creating an internationalised campus and curriculum while influencing regional and international landscapes. With its dedicated focus on studies in Education, Social Sciences and Humanities, the HKIEd has a strong conviction to nurturing students to become caring leaders with a global vision. We are keen to engage staff and students in a wide range of internationalisation and regional out-reaching initiatives and activities.
With a strong commitment to promoting educational change, social development and human betterment as its core vision,
the HKIEd has invited prominent international partners as the founding members of the Global Alliance for Educational Change and Social Development in 2014 to jointly co-launch this highly meaningful initiative.
