Participating in Student Exchange Programmes (SEP) will be an eye-opening learning experience. SEP allows you to study at one of our partner institutions for one semester and bring about positive impact on your personal development, broadening your horizons, developing self-confidence, improving language proficiency and helping your career & personal skills.

The Global Affairs Office (GAO) has connected with 100+ partner institutions worldwide with good reputation and academic standing. SEP provides a broad range of courses across disciplines including but not limited to science, social sciences, humanities, sports science, management and education.

Students could make use of the GLEF for joining SEP.
Scholarships, Awards and Subsidy Schemes
Scholarships, Awards, and Subsidy Schemes are also available to eligible students, where applicable. Please visit the Student Affairs Office’s website for more information.
Application Guidelines, Institution Summary, and Application Procedure
Please visit GAO website for the Application Guidelines and Exchange Institution Summary Table (Annex 1). Interested students should read through all the information and pay attention to the specific requirements (if any). You can find more information about the exchange institutions from their factsheets and websites.
Application MUST be submitted through the online system – Global Engagement Management System (GEMS). You can access GEMS via the Portal and please study the Student Manual - GEMS carefully to understand all the steps for application.
GEMS will be closed sharply at 09:00, 12 January 2024, interested students should complete the application well before the deadline and NOT to start the application at the last minute to avoid any inconvenience. Late or incomplete application will NOT be processed.
