A series of school-based sports-STEM / sports activities facilitated by professional chip timing and other digital devices have been launched in some primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong to foster their students’ studying resilience and developing their well-being through digital transformation by Mr Joe Chen (CEO of the founder of the NGO entitled “ICT-in-Physical Education Foundation Limited”) in 2024-2025.

Dr Percy Kwok in the Department of Education Policy and Leadership and Dr Wendy Huang in the Department of Health and Physical Education at the Education University of Hong Kong are the research consultants to help carry out research evaluations of such school-based digital transformation models through mixed methods, develop effective pedagogical strategies and strengthen student leadership skills.
Dr Percy Kwok advises on further strategic development of a school hub to promote such activities in Hong Kong and other key cities of GBA under a distributive leadership model.
