To celebrate the fruitful internship arrangements and to strengthen the strategic network for future collaborations, the Department of Education Policy and Leadership (EPL) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) hosted an Internship Celebration cum Award Ceremony and Strategic Networking Event on 30 August 2024.
The occasion honoured the exemplary performance of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Executive Management (BSc(EM)) programme. Student representatives shared their learning experiences and expressed gratitude towards strategic partners for providing invaluable internship opportunities and guidance.
The ceremony commenced with opening remarks from Dr. LU Jiafang, Acting Head of EPL, and Mr. LAM Ho Wai Martin, Programme Leader of BSc(EM). Both speakers highlighted the objectives of the internship programme and extended heartfelt thanks to all strategic partners for their unwavering support and contributions.
Student representative Ms. Cecilia Wong shared her enriching internship experience, reflecting on the professional growth and learning opportunities provided by the programme.
In recognition of the contributions made by the strategic partners, Dr. LU presented Certificates of Appreciation to all collaborators. Furthermore, Dr. LEE Tai Hoi Theodore, Associated Head of EPL, awarded certificates and prizes to the outstanding students for their exceptional performance during their internships.
After the ceremony, attendees engaged in socialising, strengthening the bonds between students and partners. This convivial atmosphere also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and laying the groundwork for future collaborations.
