Delegation from Moscow City University and the Department of Education and Science of Moscow Visits EdUHK
The delegation from Moscow City University (MCU) and the Department of Education and Science of Moscow visited The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 2 April 2024. The delegation, led by Dr Igor Remorenko, Rector of MCU and Mr IIia Ershov, Deputy Head of Directorate for Construction and Reconstruction, Department of Education and Science of Moscow, was warmly welcomed by EdUHK President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, Vice President (Academic) Professor May Cheng May-hung, Vice President (Research and Development) Professor Chetwyn Chan Che-hin, and etc. The discussion between the universities concentrated on the implementation and potential of future classrooms, which support a variety of innovative teaching scenarios, and help create a high-quality learning experience.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Future Classroom and STEAM room in EdUHK library, experienced virtual reality CAVE application games and LED CAVE 360 videos, and became interested in the multi-functional furniture and equipment in the classroom. The delegation also visited the Hong Kong Museum of Education to learn more about the history, culture and development of education in Hong Kong.
