In support of the National Security Education Day, The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held the National Flag Raising Ceremony on its Tai Po campus on 15 April 2024. 

he Ceremony was attended by EdUHK Council members, President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin, the senior management, staff and students. Joining the ceremony were Mr Wang Jian, Head of Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in the HKSAR (OCMFA); Mr Li Xiaoyang, First Secretary of Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the OCMFA; various Tai Po District Council Members, and secondary and primary school heads. The ceremony was attended by over 400 people.
